Antiheroes V. - Green Goblin

              Probably everyone knows Green Goblin ! He´s the bad guy fo the Spiderman movies.
                           Always flying aroud and evil laughing over his work of destruction.

I decided for him because of his always , evil , smiling face and also the colors on his  costume.
For the first time I used  a shiny , metalic, violet ,textile color. I think it makes a good contrast to the green color shades on the face and body of the Goblin.
                                      In the end I made two faces f Green Goblin on my shoes.
The left one is the evil one and the right one is looking more like a mix of Green Goblin and the Grinch,but both are scary, bad guys for me.

Antiheroes IV. - Deadpool

Another character from the Antiheroes serie is Deadpool.

It´s a really funny comix story and I enjoeyd the research about this personality.

I decided to add it to my group of antiheroes because lot of people from instagram started to ask me about him.

On Deadpool costume there are mostly red and black colors so I decided to choose dark and light blue for the contrast background.

At my Antiheroes exhibition a famous Czech rapper Sharlota liked the Deadpool design and buyed it.

It was the first pair I sold there.

I would also like to thank her for the huge support she made for me on her profile.

I´m really happy that she owns this pair of my custom vans shoes.

Zuzička's skate design

Hard work before the painting...

Some of my designs are made with a special pleasure and I enjoy the work on them more , because they are for my very good friends . I always wanna make something unique for them  and also I put all my emotions into the work ,because when I paint them I think on the person and all our good times and adventures together.

 This skate design I made for Zuzička is really special,because this girl always makes everyone around smile and feeli good. She's a really special person in my life  and inspires me a lot.
Zuzička is a profesional , Slovak Freeskier and also a very good and talented photographer. Her works are amazing and she always catches the right moment to show all the emotions .I used to make one shoes design for her one year ago... the mountains and waves shoes.
I always like to spend time with her, because she's like the sun. One day with zuzka is like a smile therapy for me. That's why I made this skate design for her !

 With Zuzka we used to travel to Sri Lanka together ans also last year to Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua...it's always an adventure to see all the amazing places with her and the girls.

I decided to make a combination of summer and winter season on her design and chose her favourite waves and mountains. I found a profile picture from her boyfriend Martin on the internet and used it to connect these two elements into one picture.
I was all the time working with white and blue shades of posca pens , only on the background I used a contrasting yellow sun . In the end I used the transparent varnish to protect the whole drawing.

And this is the final skate design ! Zuzka liked it a lot and she has it already at home .

I'm  really happy she has another piece of my art .

Let´s walk from Karlštejn to Big Amerika !

 I found a lot of nice pictures from my spontain , weekend trips to the nature...Sorry , I was too busy to post these very nice memories,but I always enjoyed sooo much !
I will try to post them all soon...

Here are some pictures from our train trip to the village next to the Karlštejn castle. After we found a very nice and for us new view on this castle,we decided to walk more to the next village Mořina and than even more walking to the stone-pit called Big America,because my friend Veronika never saw this amazing place before. It took us few hours and it was not so easy,because we had also my umpa-lumpa dog Jakub with us, but it was worth it ! It´s always amazing to visit Big Amerika and I ´m happy that I could show it to Veronika.

                                     We also visited the Small Amerika,which is next to the Big one.

Maleficent

 I think everyone knows from childhood the story about the sleeping beauty and the bad queen...
When I first time saw the film Maleficent I was really surprised and I must say I really loved Angelina Jolie in this movie ,because she played it sooo good ! That ´s Why it was a real pleasure for me when someone ordered Vans shoes with the design of Maleficent and Aurora .

¨I must be honest , that I repainted the face of Maleficent about three time until I was not satisfied with it.

I decided to play a little with "the good and the bad " side of the shoes.

That´s why left side is more dark and the right side is lighter,but on both I used the blue background to connect the designs.

As always I  added to both faces lots of small details,like the hair of aurora, leaves in her hair or the deep look of Maleficent.

I hope you will like the final result of my work  , it´s the only original version of this design which I painted and I hope the new owner will enjoy it .

Medusa skate design

Here is another one from my both - sides skateboard designs. I call this one ¨The Medusa.¨ I took the inspiration from the Greek mythology ,from the story about gorgon Medusa which hair was full of snakes and everyone who looked into her eyes turned into a stone. She was beheaded by the antic hero Perseus.

I used golden acrylic color for the background and black and white edding markers for details .

In the end I also used fluorescence color for the skin of  the two big snakes .

When you turn of the light their skin starts to glow in the dark and it looks like they would move.

I made two different designs on the board ,but they are connected and together they make one whole.

The work on the skateboard took me 3 days,but once I started to paint I couldn ´t stop.

In the end I covered the both designs with transparent lacquer spray.

Antiheroes III. - Dr. Doom

Hi everyone !

Finaly I have some time again to post the pictures of everything I´ve done in thse crazy days.

I will now post some more details to my last Antiheroes Vans shoes edition.

And I will start with Dr Doom !

I must say I really enjoyed painting these pair of shoes,because it was really difficult and took me more time than usually.

 I started to work on them live at the Urban Culture Games warm up event in Radlická.

It was a nice experience ,tat I can also paint live in front of so many people.

The most difficult think on the whole Dr Doom design was the mask,but I think I made it look really good.

Again I used my favorite textile colors so even wather or hot weather can ´t destroy the design on them.

These pair of shoes is  still for sale in the size  9 us/ 42 eu  ,so if someone would like to buy them just write me on my email andrea.klv@gmail.com ... I ´m shipping worldwide.

Antiheroes II. - Catwoman

As I anounced in the past,I´m working on my new Antiheroes Vans shoes serie.

I will release 10 pairs of  handpainted  Vans Slip-on shoes on my next  exhibition in Prague.

This time it will be on 26th of  May in the Footshop store (Vltavská street,Prague ).

                     There will be always one original design on one size of shoes for sale.
So if you would like to buy some of them you have to come to see the exhibition ,or just write me  on the event link on facebook on 26.5.2016. Please don´t write me earlier,because I make no reservations yet. They will be for sale when I finish the whole Antiheroes serie. I choose most famous and iconic charactres from the bad guys ,so I hope you all will like them and come to join the art show. We will also paint live,so if you would like to overpaint some old shoes or clothes,just take them with you and I can show you how to make it.

                                              Here is a little teaser...The Catwoman shoes !
I took inspiration from the Batman movie directed by Tim Burton here the Catwoman character was played by the actress Michelle Pfeiffer. Not everyone knows this old movie,but it´s one of my favourite ones,because I love Tim Burton films.
It´s not much time until the exhibition opening,and I won´t stop working until itś perfect and all prepaired.But, I promise you won´t be bored and beside the shoes designs I will also prepair ten more skateboard designs. Have a great weekend everyone and see you soon !
