The salmon story

Last weekend I had so much fun with my friends here in Prague.

Saturday we went to the Andy Warhol exhibition and than had a good night session at the river Vltava.

Sunday I went with my friends Majka and Igor  for a swim to the dam,but it was so stinky,that we had to take a shower right after we came home.We smelled like fish,bleeh!

We call my friend Majka - Salmon,so it was funny when she came fresh and clean from the shower. 

We called her the fragrant salmon.

This phrase was very interesting for me so I decided to do a comic about it.

Shoe remake II.

Ooups ! I did it again...I remade a little .

I turned my old,light blue slip-ons into new peacock / jungle green ones.

It was not too hard and it took less than six hours.

 

Again I used my favourite textile colors and the thinnest brushs I had at home.

It´s summer so I chose the green shades for the backround.

I paint slurries with wather on the palette and than applied on the shoe.

On the Picture u can see the difference between the old color of the shoe and the green shades.

After application the substrate must be dried well.

 

Then I started to paint the peacock feathers design on the green bacround.

I used also black textile color for it.

Then u only  need a great deal of patience and steady hand.

 

 

 

After u finished the painting u just iron the dried design and it´s ready to wear.

Three days ago it was my 28th birthday.People say I don´t look at this age,but it´s true.

I decided to look at a coulple of old photo albums and remembered a little on the young frog.

Here are some pictures from me during the years.

This is me in the nursery. I´ve never been the photogenic type,but u must say I have a very stylish shirt :-).

 I was not a lovely child ,but fortunately I look better now.

You can judge for yourself.

These are my crazy roomates Pepsi and Kix chillin at our balcony .

I must say,we are not normal,because we laugh,sing.dance and stalk all the time.

Typical chic flat.It´s always good to have these girls around when u are sad.

I don´t like when people touch my hair,but she can. She can do amazing things with my hair.

People don´t know my real name is Andrea,because I don´t use it much.When I introduce myself I prefer to say I´m Žabka. It´s a nickname from highschool,people got so used to it that even my dad calles ma Žaba.

 This is me and my friend Terezka from Slovakia.      I always enjoy the time with her when she comes to Prague.She´s mooving to Denmark this year,because she´s going to studdy there.
I wish her luck and hope she will come to visit me soon.

Winter Žaba...my friend from Brasil says I look here like Barney the dinosaur from the children programe. Maybe.    I love colors so u will always recodnise me in the crowd of people.

 

                                                   I love all kinds of art.This is a picture from one art exhibition in Prague.This is one of my favourite pictures from Prague.It´s me and my dog Jakub at the John Lennon wall.We two are insepareble duo for three years.I love him so much even he´s like a little devil.

And this is me from last week with my friend Nina chillin at the Mystic skate cup.

 This is my favourite picture from all,because it´s my friend with whom I do not meet so often.

But our shared moments are more precious and beautiful.

I would like to thank my family and all my friends.Thank u for the support during the years and for the amazing moments I could survive with u. I know I was not always nice and it´s not easy to work with me,but u always trusted in me and gave me so much energy.

All I create I am doing for u...for the love.

Highfives

Somethimes I participate in a art competitions when I like the theme.

So it was also with the highfive competition witch was announced by their server and the winner woul become a hoodie with his own design.

I did not win,but I was second.It was a new experience for me,because it was a facebook competition and I could see how many people like what I do and I was very surprised by the support from all my friends.

The ART SHAKE comic

This is a comic I made for one art exhibition I was invited to.

It was called ART SHAKE and it was a good art session where many of my friend met and painted for a good thing. All the money that we earned by painting and the auction went to charity.I was happy I could be a part of it and help someone with my work.

I gave this comic to the auction and auctioned it.

Pen sketches

Somethimes when I have time in work but no color pencils or ink I like to sketch with normal pen,that u can find everywhere.As u could see also my komix works were done with pen.

This is a sketch for my comic series called  The packaging buns.

Somethimes I need some to completly shut down and just focus on something symmetric.

And this is how the symmetric tribal fish incurred.

This is my dog as a fish, I don´t know why I draw her like this.

It just occurred to me ,what it would be like to draw my dog Lola like a fish and so I tried it.

Everytime I see this picture I just have to smile.

I like to  mix the technics like on this picture where I used the red pen and color pencils.

This is a sketch for the FACTION skis t-shirt promodel. First I drew each hand separately and then composed and combined to the snow flake form.
