NIKÉ Longboard design

I always like to work on projects ,that are more difficult to do,because people will enter some subjects, that you cannot imagine,or the shape of the thing you´re gonna paint on is unusual.
Or you ŕe just not in the mood ,so you rather work on everything else ,just not on the thing you should :-D...

This was also the case of painting my first longboard design.
When I first heard it should be Niké ,the Goddess of victory design I couldn ´t imagine how will I make it...
But then I looked on some old Greece statues of the goddesses and started to imagine some ideas.

First I sprayed the both sides of the board with a metallic spray.
Now, I have a perfect foundation for painting with edding markers.
I like the metallic color a lot, because itś shinny and I wanted to paint a sunshine in the background of Niké.

I prepaired a small sketch of the Niké Goddess on paiper and than I started to draw with the markers.
The Goddess was the only theme I couldn´t change. In everything else I had free hands.

The work took me 11 hours, but in the morning the longboard desing was finished.
In the end I covered the design with a transparent varnish and let it dry.

Sometimes it takes me longer to draw something, but nothing is impossible !

On my skin

It became a tradition, that everytime I ´m bored from works I don´t know how to finish,I start to draw on my left hand.
I decided to show you some of the pictures I painted on my skin with akvarel colors and black ink.
I like to use my own skin as a canvas and I´m thinking about to start a bodypainting project in the future.

From High Tatras with love

It´s always nice to receive pictures of people wearing my designs.Even more if the pictures are from my favourite place High Tatras (Slovakia).

My friends Dominika and her boyfriend Victor send me some pictures of them in the jackets I painted for them.Dominika has one of the very first jackets I painted, the Lion jacket.
Oh I really like this couple because everytime I´m spending some time with them I can feel how much they love and care about each other.
Thank you my friends for reminding me WHAT IS LOVE !

VANS waves shoes

Thanks to the support of Tomas Velický and Vans cz/sk I could paint some more Vans shoes again.
I can´t wait to see the ocean again and that´s why I paint the waves almost everywhere.
Everytime I paint something with waves like this I imagine I´m back on the beach and I can feel the salt in the air

I´m happy someone already buyed them  and I hope to find oneday a picture with them somewhere.

UMPA-LUMPA skate design

Do you remember my friend ,czech snowboarder Diana Augustínová ?I was painting two pairs of Vans Slip-on shoes and a snowboard helmet for her in the past. Didi asked me once to paint her skateboard ,too.
She is a small girl(150cm ),so We make sometimes fun she´s a Miss Umpa-Lumpa.
As I once sad in the subway on the way to work,I got the idea for the perfect design for her.
I sketched everything in the subway and in work I just overlaid the lines with black ink.

I painted the final design on her skateboard with edding markers and fixed it with the transparent varnish.
I can´t wait to see Didi skating on it !

Meadow flowers shoes

I love meadow flowers! Everytime I´m home in Slovakia I take my dogs and we go  for a walk on the meadow. I really like to just lay down into the grass and watch the clouds pass by.
These moments inspired me to paint the Meadow flower shoes.
I painted my favourite daisies and poppies on them.

You can see this pair of shoes also on my Prague exhibition in the Horsefeathers store.
I made two kinds of this design, but every one of them is original. One is for my friend Janka from Slovakia and one I send to Meredith Dunnan from USA.
She saw my works on the exhibition and pleased me so much for one pair.
Itś so nice to know someone in America is walking in my handpainted shoes.
These kinds of pictures,of happy people in my shoes are the best motivation for me.

Greetings from America! Meredith in her new shoes.Thank you for the pictures,it was a pleasure to make them for you.
