Long time ago when I use to live in my home country,Slovakia I invented my first comic called Packaging buns. It just started like valve after I broke up with my boyfriend.
My girlfriends supported me when I was sad and we spend a lot of time together.
To thank for all of that I started to draw a comic about us.
There are three main characters,but later I added up more and more friends.
The drawing style is not perfect and most of comics  are just on the sketch book paper.
But I made it just for me and my friends,so I draw on everything I had close to me.
When I moved to Prague I missed my friends so much I added more and more parts with the adventures of the Packing buns

Shoe remake I.

 

I´m always very sad when I buy white pair of sneakers and  I start to like them so much.But as it is always  with a white pair of shoes,they get dirty all the time. I did not want to give them up because I buyed them in Barcelona and they  remind me at the nice moments I lived there.  And since it was not aided by washing , I had to figure out another solution to save my favorite sneakers.

 

 

 I decided to repaint them with a motive of mountains that I sketched once when I was in High Tatras.

I used tree shades of blue and white textile color.

The procedure was very simple.I started with the darkest blue on the contours and than applied progressively lighter shades. Finally I overlaid the whole image with black contours that the picture stand out more.

 

 

 

Finally, to complete the shoe must be properly dried and ironed to fix the picture on it.I washed the shoe already once in the washing machine and it´s still on it !!! So be creative and remake your favorite old shoes so they can stay with you longer.

Poppies

 

 

Today I was so bored in work so I decided to paint my friend ´s  shirt .Her name is Nina and she really loves poppies and wildflowers. Last time she was at my place in Prague she left  her denim shirt here,because she wanted me to paint her something on it.
So it was not hard to think about what I will paint her.

I posted also some pictures from the production of the shirt , so u can imagine how I work with the colors. The last thing I will have to do at hove with it is to iron the painting, so it will last forever.
After the color is fixed with ,u can  wash it in the washing machine and also iron it if u want.
Nina will come to my place next month again and I hope to surprise her with her new poppies shir.
I just love to make my friends and people around me lucky.

The Snowgirls project

 Snowgirls is a project dedicated to girls who have passion for snow and extreme winter sports.

Last year my friends Zuzička Stromková,Natalia Šlepecká,Petra Jurečková,Klaudia Medlová and Martina Molnárová asked me to make some komix for their Snowgirls movie.
We are very good friends and they like my kind of art.Girls wanted to show everybody,that extreme sports like freeski and snowboarding are not just for men.
I wanted to create a funny story about the girls as I know them.That´s why I chose the collage style for them.I worked with photos of girls that I volunteered,then fleshed out by some newspaper clippings and finished with pen sketches.
I was very happy to work for the girls and I hope that we will make something together again soon.

High Tatras

This weekend  I went to High Tatras - Štrbské Pleso to visit my very good friend Dominika and to get some new inspiration.I alwys love to be in the mountains and this place is very special to me..Slovakia has such a beautifull nature,it always takes my breath away.There are so many good places to go in High Tatras when u just wanna relax and enjoy the nature.
First of all there ist the ice lake -Štrbské Pleso.It´s just  15 minutes walk from the cog railway station.
U can walk along the  lake or rent a boat and enjoy the view from there.

Even when it rains  the view is amazing.

A month ago there was a storm that shattered a lot of trees, so walk in the woods was not so easy.
First I wanted to just walk around,but than I decided to go to see the watherfall Jump.
And it was worth it !
The watherfall is just amazing and the wather inside is so fresh and so clean.I could not resist and had to drink it.
It tasted great ! After this refreshment I walked on over watherfalls to the ice lake there.
Another pictures just don´t need no comments,because I was speachless.
I already miss this place and I hope to go back next month again.
I would like to thank Dominika , her family and friends to make me always feel like home there.

My collaboration with FACTION Skis

 Last september I was asked to work on a project for FACTION Skis.
My friend and a very good freeskier Natalia Šlepecká asked me to make a design for her T-shirt for this brand.I was very honored to receive this offer. It´s a special edition to help with funding Natalia´s season.
All the profits from the sale of this T-shirt go directly to help Natalia.

My favourite theme are the Hands,as they can do many things and are a fascinating art objects.
I have worked with the hands motive as they can help people communicate.I wanted to create and art,which would be a symbol of friendship,that people in the mountain share,how they ride and have fun together.
That is why I made a snowflake created of hands.My goal was to connect people with the nature and to create an attractive design for Faction skis.

DIY Heron hoodie from me

 Yesterday I traveled to Slovakia to my parents home for few days and I took my DIY hoodies with me so I can make some nice pictures in the nature for you.
This time I painted a heron hoodie, I think I have some kind of bird perion now.
It´s painted on a grey sweatshirt from American Apparel I found in the second hand.
I was skateboarding in the park today and met my friends there, so I asked my friend Dominika to help me take some pictures of the new hoodie I painted.
I love wildflowers so when I found some  I had to take the pictures with them.
Together with the nature it look really good.

I would like to thank Dominika for making me the model .Take care I  hope to see you soon my friend.

My cooperation with OX Skis 2011/ 2012

Few years ago I was asked to make a design of promodel  skis for my friend and at that time the OX Skis team rider Petra Jurečková.
It was a challenge,because I had never painted skis before.
Petra wanted to have a design with a winter God called Skadi.
I didn´t have much time to devising and implementing the draft,but I finished it in time.
And Petra and her sponsor were okey with the final result.I painted my sketch on a paper copy of the skis and than they printed it on the real ones.
When I saw the final product I was really surprised,because I liked it so much.
I ´m happy I could work on something for Petra ,because she ´s a good friend of mine.

My old autobiographical comic

Two years ago I made my own comic about mine and my exboyfriends life together.

It was called SuperMagda.

I drawed it with a lot of irony and I made fun of myself and the ex life dude.

Mostly I used collage technic,but there are also some hand drawed episodes.

Sorry, if u won´t undrestand it. It´s because  they are written in the Slovak languange.
