Flower power

After I returned from my holiday I ´m full of inspiration.
I loved the beautyfull nature there ,so I decided to paint one of my shoes with the typical Sri Lanka flowers I weared in my hair all the time.
I had no template, I tought only at the nice moments there and painted ...

Vans Classic & Prague

One month before I wrotte here about how I painted Vans shoes for my friend Didi Augustínová.
After this nice work for her, I was asked for one special project from Vans.
It´s  called Vans Classic & Prague and it´s an internacional charity project where various artists paint on vans slip-on shoes. The final work of the Czech and Slovak artists will go on  auction and all the money recovered from the sale of the  shoes goes for the charity www.zkruhu.cz ( which supports the children´s homes or the Fund for children).
I was very glad that  I could support this action and I hope people will like my hand painted octopus slip-ons ,so we will get a lot of money for the people who need it.
U can see all of the shoes in the Freshlabels shop in Prague on the 27th of October, where will also the auction take place.
If u would like to come and support us,you´re welcome !

Rainbow feather shoes

Hi friends!
I´m back to Europe again and ready to paint on everything I find.
I decided to paint on some new, white shoes that I buyed before I went on my holiday.
All shoes will be for sale,so if u would like one pair, just contact me and you can buy them,or I can paint one pair to your liking.

As u can see the shoes were originally pure white.
Before the painting it´s good to stuff the shoes with cloth or old newspapers to keep their shape and it ´s  better for u when u paint on them.
As the substrate i chose these three cheerfull colors: purple, blue and light green, I wanted to achieve a batic effect with them.

The colors should be applied carefully thoroughly to hold on the fabric well.

This was a little of the classic course of action, now it´s up to you and your imagination.
I decided to paint feathers on this pair ,because I like to paint birds these days.
The colors I used are made for fabric  painting so they hold good.
At the end of the painting just fix the painted motif with iron and it´s ready to go into the streets.

Srí Lanka

Hi there!
Finally I ´m back from my holiday and full of inspiration.
I spend last month on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka with my friends.
I still can´t believe we made it.When we started to plan our girls trip I´d never even dream about to travel  there in a group of twelve girls. It´s always hard to manage so many people together, but we survived and became even better friends.I don ´t know what should I write more ,because I ´m full of experiences and emotions.I´m looking forward for another adventure with my doublesixpack crew.
Here are some pictures from our  amazing journey...

The Peanut farm

We use to stay in a place called Arugam bay,but most of the time we spend at  Peanut farm beach.
It´s a very nice place ,just 20minuts by tuk tuk from Arugam. But when u come there u will love it!
If u are a surf beginner like me u will have the perfect space to practice.
It´s not just about the waves here, people from Peanut farm are very friendly  and happy to advise.
I spend the best times here and I would like to thank Chom,Dilina,Dan,Julien and others.
Thank u guys  for the great times, delicious dinners, amazing sunsets and sunrises with elephants.
I miss u so much, but one day I´ll be back.
