Dingo

One of my friends made a wooden surfboard at home and asked me to paint it .
He´s a owner of a very nice dog called Dingo. He would like to have his dog face design on the surfboard.

At the beginning I was a little unlucky and I poured the bottle of indian ink on the table.
But ,as they say :"Every cloud has a silver lining..."So I added the spots from the indian ink on paper between my sketches.
Maybe one day I will draw something from them.

Here are the first sketches of  Dingo.
Soon ,I will post here the DIY surfboard with the new design.

Do you like cats?

This time I add something I painted as a order from my friend Michal.
He wants to surprise someone for The Christmas and asked me to make a cat painting.
I must say I don´t like cats much,because I don ´t trust these animals,
I have a bad experience with them from my childhood.
But even if ,I did it.

Howling

Sometimes when I paint something too long comes a moment when I can´t move anywhere.
Best relax for me than is to start to paint or draw something completely new.
This time I did a howling wolf by ink.
I had the sketch of it two weeks in my sketchpad, but I didn´t knew how to finish it.

I just looked at the picture now and knew it will be perfect for ma premotivation .
The more harder the work on this wolf was,the more I enjoyed it.For me it was the best way to relax and forget on everything that is going around me. I really enjoyed the work on  the fur of the wolf and all the details.
Now, I think it will be a good present for my Mum for Christmass to show her how I appreciate her support in my art and her love.

Berlin

The Big wheel in Spreepark

Finally we made it to Berlin!
The city I always wanted to visit, because it´s so much art everywhere.
It was a super spontain trip with my friend Majka a.k.a. Losos (it means Salmon) and our friend Jirka joined us ,too.We had only three days for it ,but we saw everything we wanted for our first time here.
We had a very nice hostel in the centre of  Berlin right next to my beloved Tacheles called The heart of gold. It was great!Very clean rooms and bathroom, cheap prices, good people working there, delicious breakfast for only 4euros and coffe and tea all day long for free.Thank u for being so kind to us ,we will return soon again.
The first day we visited die Neue Galerie and die Gemaldegalerie. Both were very nice full of breathtaking art,but it takes a lot of time to enjoy all the paintings  and instalations there.
We spend there like four hours and still didn ´t see everything.
When it was dark we decided to spend the night walking aroud the city and enjoying the architecture and streetart.

I´m so happy i could see The Kunsthaus tacheles live!
For years I was just reading about this amazing art place. It´s soo sad that it´s closed for now.
Many years it was the art centre of Berlin.
I hope that this symbol of freedom in art survives.

Next day we had a plan to go to the Spreepark. It´s an abandoned amusement park hidden in the woods of Planterwald. It´s forbiden to go there, but We risked it and it was worth the danger.
It´s a great place for taking pictures. You can find a lot of atractions overgrown by the nature here, but some of them still work.
When the wind blows the big wheel startes to spin slowly and makes scary sounds of rusting iron.

After we leaved Spreepark,we went to Warschauer street to  look at one skate spot and  to see the remains of the famous Berlin Wall.
I don ´t like so many people around one place like here, but  it was nice to see also this part of  Berlin.
At night we went to another great place called Kunsthalle. This building is built from old shipping containers. We saw a nice exhibition of one artist from New York there. He´s on tour around Europe panting and singing live in from of the audience. It was really fun to see someone enjoying his art so much.

On Sunday finally the sun came up .We went to the part of Berlin called Brandenburger Tor to see the Brandenburg Gate and  Holocaust memorial.
Although this is a sad part of our history, people should visit this place and think over themselves.
In the afternoon we decided to go also to the Jewish museum and I definitely recommend it to visit.

We had really good times here and I will definitely return very soon .
I love you Berlin !!!

Winter jacket

Finaly I had time to paint something for myself.
I decided to repaint my old winter jacket.
This was also the first time I made a sketch of the design that I will paint on it.
I took inspiration from a dream catcher and  my beloved High Tatras.

I stretched out the jacket on a hard surface and started to paint the feathers on it .
I chose blue color combination so the painting looks like frozen.

                                                            Almost finished circle from feathers.

And finaly the mountains and forests were added .

Wualááá !The final look of the design is here.

Now,  my jacket is ready for this winter and I can´t wait to take it to the mountains.

Stanley hoodie

Last week I received a surprise from my friend Anet. She sent me a picture of her and her dog Stanley, where she is wearing a hoodie which  I painted for her one year ago.It was the second thing I painted for someone .I had just three textile colors ( dark blue, neon yellow and neon pink ) and I just started to work with this technic.I was so happy when I saw this picture on Anet´s  instagram profile.
Thank you Anet for this great picture I really appreciate it !
