ROCK´N ROLL

This year I spend my holidays in Central America ,traveling trough Panama,Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

This time I couldn´t resist to also paint something during the trip.

Unfortunately,I forgot my textile colors at home and  I took just edding markers,sketchbook and some wathercolors with me.

The last 11days of our surf trip we spend on Guasacate beach ( Nicaragua ) in a nice hostel called Popoyo Loco : https://www.facebook.com/Hostelpopoyoloco?fref=ts .

People here are very nice and friendly and the waves are good here for beginners or also for good surfers ,too.So, once you´re traveling to Nicaragua you should stop by here for sure.

When one of the surfer found out I´m a painter and saw some of my designs on my instagram account,He asked me to also paint his surfboard. I must say I was really happy that I can paint a surfboard again and I like José a lot so it was also a pleasure for me.
His only condition was that He wants a bony hand there and everything else was up to me...
As I always say: "I love challenges ! " and this one was good for me.
I imagined for him a design with a bony hand that comes out of the wather. It should symbolize that you should  never give up and even you loose, you should stand up and catch another wave.
During the painting  it has become a rock´n roll hand ...
I used only the edding markers for this design and it took me like 3days of work,because I couldn´t paint during the nights (there was no good light)and I wanted to spend also some time in the ocean.

And here is the final Rock ń Roll painting !

       I finished the surfboard design right in time for José´s birthday,so it was a perfect gift for him.
Now ,when I look at the pictures of him riding the waves on this board I´m really happy that I made it.I think this design perfectly fits to his personality and it was a pleasure for me to make something for this crazy guy.

Lynx

I ´ve got new akvarel colors and sketch book from my Mum and I really like to work with them.

This painting I made while I was watching a documentary film about wild animals in my work .

It´s a Lynx hidden in the woods.

It used to be a lot of these animals in the Slovak woods,but now their number has declined and they are protected by the law.

We should more care about the nature and animals,protect them! So we can still observe such amazing animals in the wild and not just in the books or zoo.

Trip to Big Amerika

This summer was amazing ! Full of spontaneous trips,surprises and adventures with my friends.

One day my friend Stefanie called me if we won´t go for a sleep over to the place near Prague called Big America, I couldn´t say no, because I always wanted to do that with someone.
We climbed down with seven friends before the sunset and prepaired the fireplace before dark.
We made some food on the fire and sleeped only in the open air.
The sky was cloudless and full of stars, So we just layed down and enjoyed the atmosphere.
It was amazing to spend a night down there...The fullmoon was on that night and it lit up the whole quarry.

 This was a great escape from the city life even just for a one night...I loved it !  Thank you my friends ,for making my dreams come true !

OWL Hoddie

During my last exhibition in Prague you could also buy some clothing and shoes handpainted by me.
I´m really surprised and happy that all the things are sold out and people liked them so much.
Here is one of the hoodies I was selling there:" The blue owl ."
Friends from Horsefeathers store told me some girl from Oslo buyeded it .
I hope to meet her one day or just to receive a picture of her wearing the hoodie,That would be so nice!
I´m so happy that my art is turning more and more international!

I love the ocean !

Here are some works I made inspired by the ocean and the beach life.

I think I had some kind of blue phase,becuase everything I paited before my holidays is blue or with waves.

Maybe, I was so excited about my new surf trip to Central America,I needed some new waves also in my Prague life.
