SNB Helmet for DIDI

Again I did something new for me !
My friend Didi ( Diana Augustínová ) asked me to paint her new snowboard helmet.
It was a new challenge for me and I accepted it.

Originally the helmet was white.
For painting on the helmet I used the Edding 750 markers and pernament markers.

The final look of the helmet.
Didi wanted to paint something punk and wild on it, So it was not hard to think about the motive.I´d just thought  about all the funny situations together and started to paint without a sketch.
In the end I was also surprised about the final look of the helmet.
On friday Didi will come to Prague and take her new protection for the first ride into the mountains of Stubai.
I can´t wait to see some pictures. Have fun my friend !!!

VANSagain

I found another pair of vans shoes at home which I could repaint and here is the result of my work.

Here you can compare the shoes as they were before and after that I painted them to blue.

I decided to paint them all over with dark blue ornaments.

And here are the completed and signed shoes.

Peacocks and snow

Last week I finaly had time to paint a jacket for my friend Victor.
He´s a boyfriend of my very good girl friend Dominika from High Tatras and also a good freeskier.
He told me he likes my paintings on shoes and clothes when I was visiting them this summer and gave me his jacket ,too.

The making of one peacock is hard ,but to do another one  opposite, that  was really a challenge for me.

I  gave really care with  the individual feathers,so the work on the design took me 2 days.
But it was worth it! Now, I think I will paint my winter jacket too.
I hope Victor will take  awesome  pictures with the jacket in snowpark and he will send me some to show u here.
Enjoy the snow my bro !

Surf design for Anička

Our friend Anička Černá is a great surfer ,who currently lives in Sri Lanka.
She asked me during my holiday there to paint her surf board.I had never painted a surf board before,so I was happy that I could try it.
Maybe you think that it´s a cow design ,but it´s a deer from Srí Lanka. We saw it on our trip into  the mountains.

I started to draw the design in the Sababa restaurant with a glass of delicious lassy.
I couldn´t find normal colors for painting,so I used just the markers I found in the shop.
I tried to cover the repaired part of the surf board with my drawing, so it would look like new.

Now,Bradley is ready for the waves again and I hope Anička will send me a picture how she´s enjoying her new surf board . Have fun Anička and thank you for everything !

Flower power

After I returned from my holiday I ´m full of inspiration.
I loved the beautyfull nature there ,so I decided to paint one of my shoes with the typical Sri Lanka flowers I weared in my hair all the time.
I had no template, I tought only at the nice moments there and painted ...

Vans Classic & Prague

One month before I wrotte here about how I painted Vans shoes for my friend Didi Augustínová.
After this nice work for her, I was asked for one special project from Vans.
It´s  called Vans Classic & Prague and it´s an internacional charity project where various artists paint on vans slip-on shoes. The final work of the Czech and Slovak artists will go on  auction and all the money recovered from the sale of the  shoes goes for the charity www.zkruhu.cz ( which supports the children´s homes or the Fund for children).
I was very glad that  I could support this action and I hope people will like my hand painted octopus slip-ons ,so we will get a lot of money for the people who need it.
U can see all of the shoes in the Freshlabels shop in Prague on the 27th of October, where will also the auction take place.
If u would like to come and support us,you´re welcome !

Rainbow feather shoes

Hi friends!
I´m back to Europe again and ready to paint on everything I find.
I decided to paint on some new, white shoes that I buyed before I went on my holiday.
All shoes will be for sale,so if u would like one pair, just contact me and you can buy them,or I can paint one pair to your liking.

As u can see the shoes were originally pure white.
Before the painting it´s good to stuff the shoes with cloth or old newspapers to keep their shape and it ´s  better for u when u paint on them.
As the substrate i chose these three cheerfull colors: purple, blue and light green, I wanted to achieve a batic effect with them.

The colors should be applied carefully thoroughly to hold on the fabric well.

This was a little of the classic course of action, now it´s up to you and your imagination.
I decided to paint feathers on this pair ,because I like to paint birds these days.
The colors I used are made for fabric  painting so they hold good.
At the end of the painting just fix the painted motif with iron and it´s ready to go into the streets.
